BELDEN 7834ANH 4 PAIR 23 AWG, CAT6 UTP

Belden 7834ANH is a high-performance Category 6 (Cat 6) Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cable designed for high-speed local area network (LAN) data transmission. Featuring four pairs of 23 AWG solid copper conductors and a central spline (separator), it is engineered to support Gigabit Ethernet and beyond while minimizing crosstalk and signal interference.

Product Description

7834ANH is built for enterprise-level networking, providing consistent data rates up to 1 Gbps (and up to 10 Gbps over shorter distances). As a Non-Halogen (NH) jacketed cable, it is specifically designed for environments where fire safety and low smoke emissions are required, making it a common choice for plenum or restricted-air environments in building infrastructure.

Key Technical Specifications
Conductor Construction: 4 pairs of 23 AWG solid bare copper conductors. The solid conductor design is preferred for horizontal building wiring (permanently installed runs) due to its excellent electrical performance over long distances.

Internal Spline: Features a central plastic "cross-web" (spline) that separates the four pairs. This physical separation is critical for reducing Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT), ensuring stable performance up to 250 MHz.

Insulation: Polyolefin insulation for each conductor, which provides the necessary dielectric properties to maintain high-frequency signal integrity.

Outer Jacket: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket, which emits minimal smoke and no toxic halogen gases in the event of a fire, adhering to strict safety codes.

Unshielded (UTP) Architecture: Unlike the previous RS-485 cables we discussed, this cable relies on the precision twisting of its pairs (common-mode rejection) to handle electromagnetic noise, rather than physical metal shielding.

Primary Applications
Gigabit Ethernet: The standard choice for reliable 1000BASE-T local area networks.

Building Infrastructure: Ideal for structured cabling systems in offices, data centers, and campus environments.

Power over Ethernet (PoE): The 23 AWG conductors provide excellent heat dissipation for modern PoE/PoE+ applications, such as powering Wi-Fi access points, security cameras, and IP phones.
