BELDEN 8761, 1 PAIR 22 AWG AUDIO, CONTROL & INSTRUMENTATION

Belden 8761 is a widely used 1-pair, 22 AWG shielded cable designed for professional audio, instrumentation, and control applications. Similar to the 8760 but featuring a thinner 22 AWG conductor, this cable is highly valued for its space-saving profile and excellent noise immunity, making it ideal for high-density wiring in cabinets, studio environments, and data instrumentation circuits.

Product Description

8761 provides reliable signal transmission where space and flexibility are prioritized. Its stranded conductor construction ensures durability during installation, while the high-coverage Beldfoil® shield effectively blocks electromagnetic interference (EMI), ensuring signal clarity for both analog and digital signals.

Key Technical Specifications
Conductor Construction: 1 pair (2 conductors) of 22 AWG stranded (7x30) tinned copper conductors, offering a balance of flexibility and signal integrity for shorter to medium runs.

Insulation: Polypropylene (PP) insulation for stable dielectric performance and low capacitance.

Shielding Architecture:

Beldfoil® Shield: 100% coverage aluminum/polyester foil tape provides superior protection against high-frequency interference.

Drain Wire: Includes a 22 AWG stranded tinned copper drain wire to ensure simple, reliable grounding and shield continuity.

Outer Jacket: Durable, flame-retardant Chrome PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) jacket.

Electrical Characteristics:

Voltage Rating: 300 V RMS.
